EVE
ABBY WOLFE
A young astronomy protege, who is the daughter of Doug and Miranda and is Ricks fiancé. Eve is on the brink of becoming a professor when she discovers a once in human history celestial event. While facing this extraordinary event, Eve must also deal with the reality of her mothers worsening cancer. Together, they will change Eves life forever.
JESS
MACKENZIE HALL
Eve's life long best friend and fellow astronomer, Jess lost her parents when she was young and was raised by her grandparents, as well as cared for like their own by Eve's family. Jess cares deeply for Eve, making her a very loyal and protective friend. As Eve deals with both her mothers illness and work, Jess is right by her side helping, and guarding from those who might not have Eve's best interests in mind.
PROFESSOR GILBERT
TIM FORT
The lead astronomer at the Wagner Institute of Science and Technology. Gilbert is Eve's superior and has been working to lead Eve towards a future where she is head of the department. He cares about his collogues but will make the hard decisions as to what is best for the department, even if others disagree. The discovery of the comet will test both Gilbert and Eve's resolve.
ANN
CLARE MACKAY
An engineer who works at the Wagner Institute of Science and Technology. Ann works with the Astronomy department and is responsible for making sure all their delicate instruments stay working and designing the equipment required for future projects.
RICK
KADEN KLODT
A young aspiring chef and Eve's fiancé, Rick is very loyal and supporting of Eve. He stays by her side while dealing with Miranda's illness and supports her efforts at work. However, when Eve begins to change under the pressures of both, Rick fights to keep the woman he loves from losing herself, a fight that will test his limits and their love.
DOUG
JOSEPH LAXTON
Eve's father and Miranda's husband, Doug is a wise phycologist who cares deeply for his family. When Eve was young, Doug built her an observatory at the family cottage so she could follow her dream of studying space. With Miranda's health worsening and Eve being pushed to the brink, Doug must use all his years of experience to keep the family he cares so much about together.
MIRANDA
SARA BECK
The mother of Eve and wife of Doug, Miranda was a renowned Physicist before she came down with cancer. She is very close to Eve and is the first to encourage her to follow her dreams and do whatever she needs to do to be happy. She is extremely protective of her family and does everything she can to protect them from the truth of her illness.
STEVE
ANDREW BACON
A member of the astronomy department at the Wagner Institute of Science and Technology. Steve is in constant competition with Eve, feeling she is too reckless and not as suitable a fit to succeed Professor Gilbert. Steve is especially concerned about the discovery of the comet and doesn't feel like it's risks are being taken seriously.
